Animal Crossing Pocket Camp: How to Increase Friendship Levels

How to Increase Friendship Levels in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Friendships are an important part of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, especially when it comes to inviting people to your camp. The more friends you invite, the more items you’ll unlock to expand and make everything as shiny as possible and the better the rewards. Here’s what you need to know to increase friendship levels in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Increasing friendship levels in Pocket Camp is as easy as visiting a character, which you can find by checking the map. Once you find them, a little speech bubble will appear over their heads with a task you can complete for them. That can range from catching bugs or fish to finding pieces of fruit. Find what you need and deliver it to them to receive a reward and increase your level (indicated by a heart symbol).

You can also talk to them at any time, and choosing an option highlighted in red (e.g. ‘Tell Me a Story’) can add to your level total.

Once you increase friendship levels a few times, you’ll get the opportunity to invite a friend to your campsite. Before they can visit, however, they’ll need a certain number of items at your campsite before they do. Make sure you have enough bells to either purchase or craft those items (the game will tell you exactly what you need for them), drop them into your campsite and you’ll be able to invite them over again. Once they are at your campsite you can continue to talk to them and complete any tasks they might provide.
