Take a stroll through the woods with your iPhone next year.
Quirky fan-favorite Night in the Woods was previously relegated to PlayStation 4 and PC players, but now it’s coming to iPhone and iOS devices as well in 2018. That means you’ll be able to carry protagonist Mae and all her friends in Possum Springs around town with you in your pocket.
Revealed via the official Night in the Woods Twitter account, the mobile game has yet to receive a specific date for when it’s primed to touch down on smartphones, but it should lend itself well to the iOS ecosystem, especially if it’ll feature controller support beyond what’s assumed to be touch screen controls.

Night in the Woods is an intriguing adventure all its own about growing up, change, and figuring things out, just as front woman Mae has to do throughout the game. The single-player adventure game features several walking animals, such as Bea, an alligator, Gregg the fox, a bear named Angus, and more. If you’re in the middle of growing up after having lived in a small town for most of your life, you’ll find much to enjoy about the melancholy charm of this little game.
