Many aspects of the game are explained in-depth as you encounter them, and there is a guide in the menu you can use for reference, but there are some things that you won’t figure out until you’ve invested tens of hours playing. As such, we decided to put together a quick list of tips and tricks for beginners to give you a helping hand on your journey across Mordor in Shadow of War.

Save Your Gold And Mirian

Shadow of War Tips and Tricks for Beginners

You’ll earn money for accomplishing various tasks, as well as finding it during your adventure. You can exchange both Mirian, the in-game currency, and Gold, the premium currency, on chests in Shadow of War’s market. These crates can give you orcs and gear, but there’s a catch: they’re tied to your level.

If you waste money on getting chests early on in the game, you’re not going to have anything to show for it later on. The best thing to do is to save your cash until Act IV when you’re at level 50 or so and cash in then.
