There’s a New Planet and a New Social Space to Explore (For Some Players)
Guardians will be pleased to know that, aside from the aforementioned new planet of Mercury to explore, there’ll be a new social space called the Lighthouse. This goes for some players, at least. Those that were brave enough to fight their way to be crowned champions in Trials of Osiris will have already gained access to this area. For those players that didn’t gain the distinction, the Lighthouse will be a new area where they can catch up with their fellow Guardians.
Aside from that, Mercury will join the rest of the planets already featured in the main game. The setting sets itself apart from other worlds mainly through a bright golden hue, which is good news when keeping level variety in mind. Players will also get to explore the Infinite Forest, which is described as a strange Vex-controlled simulated reality suspended in the middle of time.
