Cuphead: Is There Online Multiplayer?

Is There Online Multiplayer in Cuphead?

Recommended Videos

Cuphead is a game about two brothers who made the wrong deal and now must beat a ton of monsters in order to collect debts. Naturally, fighting monsters isn’t easy and that’s why this is one of the most challenging games of the year. Thankfully, the developers have added couch co-op so you can share that challenge with a friend. Of course, with the game featuring couch co-op, many players will be wondering if the game also has online multiplayer.

Unfortunately, at this moment in time, there is no online multiplayer in Cuphead. However, this particular cloud has a potential silver lining. According to a recent interview with Fandom, Studio MDHR’s Maja Moldenhauer revealed that the developer is “looking into adding online at a later date.” While this is by no means confirmation it’ll definitely happen, it’s at least comforting to know that it’s on the developer’s radar. As soon as any official announcements are made about online multiplayer hitting Cuphead, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
