Are Juno, Jupiter, and Minerva in Assassin’s Creed Origins

Spoilers Ahead

Assassin’s Creed Origins does a lot of things differently but it doesn’t forget the lore laid down by all the installments that came before. Part of that lore includes an ancient race of highly advanced humans called the Isu. Throughout the series they’ve provided information, assisted assassins, manipulated people, and more. A solar flare wiped almost all life from the planet, but before it did a select group of people were selected to figure out a way to prevent it or to make it so the future of humanity could. Of course, while there was an entire civilization, fans of the series have become acquainted with only a select few: Juno, Jupiter, and Minerva.

Juno, Jupiter, and Minerva have appeared in different capacities throughout the series, but have always been a sort of link between the past and the present. The Isu are once again present in Assassin’s Creed Origins, only no names are given this time around. In certain tombs, players can activate mechanisms that are actually old computers with recorded messages stored on them. There are several voices that can be heard throughout the various messages, including a young man, an older gentleman, and a woman. There’s a very good chance that one or two of these individuals are Juno, Jupiter, or Minerva.

As far as we’ve played (and we’ve done most things in the game) none have introduced themselves by name just yet, so there’s no telling at the moment.

One thing we do know is that Juno has gained some power since the events of Assassin’s Creed III. The final message you get from the Isu in Assassin’s Creed Origins talks directly to Layla in the present and tells her that she need to use her unique Animus and abilities to take control, to forge chaos and become a god. It would seem that some other Isu are stepping to the forefront as things really start to come to a head.
