Microsoft announced the games that will be part of next month’s Games with Gold lineup this morning, available exclusively to Xbox users with Xbox Live Gold memberships.
The first on the list is Gone Home: Console Edition, a first-person narrative adventure game that earned a lot of fan and critical acclaim when it was first released on PC. This title will be available on Xbox One from this Sunday, October 1, to the the end of the month, October 31. Platformer Rayman 3 HD will be available the same day on Xbox 360 (with backwards compatibility enabled for Xbox One users), but will only be eligible to be picked up until October 15.
Rest assured that other games will take Rayman’s place mid-month, as both sci-fi puzzle game The Turing Test and World War II first-person shooter Medal of Honor: Airborne will be made available on October 15. The former title will be eligible for download until November 15, but the latter will only last until October 31, so members should remember to pick it up lest they miss out.
Speaking of missing out, there’s only a few days left for Xbox Live Gold members to download both Forza Motorsport 5 and Battlefield 3. Oxenfree will be availble until October 15, but fans should probably snag it too before they forget.
The grand total for October’s offerings amounts to $70 ERP, which is more or less the usual amount of savings that Xbox Live Gold members are able to earn as part of the Games with Gold promotion.
