What’s in store?
A new Shin Megami Tensei project was announced for the Nintendo Switch back during the console’s official reveal this past January. However, Atlus has been fairly tight-lipped about the game ever since they launched the vague teaser trailer featuring several demons from the series. However, it seems like they’re finally ready to share some new info next month.
Following the recent Atlus Tokyo Game Show 2017 live stream, they shared the same Shin Megami Tensei trailer from January, except this short clip ended with a note teasing that more information will arrive on Oct. 23. That said, fans should expect an update in a month from now, hopefully revealing more about the plot and gameplay.
Shin Megami Tensei is one of Atlus’ most popular franchises alongside the Persona series. The first game released on the Super Famicom back in 1992, while the fourth and current entry in the series is a 3DS exclusive. Notable gameplay features include turn-based battles, recruiting demons as allies through conversation, and fusing demons together to create powerful new creatures.
