How to Start Pro-Am Walk-On in NBA 2K18

Alongside the various establishments and mini-game areas in NBA 2K18’s The Neighborhood social hub are two staple game modes in the annual basketball title: MyPark and Pro-Am. The latter game mode allows you to engage in a 5v5 match against other player-controlled custom characters. Accessing game modes such as these was quite easy in past installments as you can start matches by selecting it on the main menu; however, it can be a bit difficult to start Pro-Am Walk-On matches in NBA 2K18.

For newcomers, the lack of an in-game map makes finding certain areas in The Neighborhood difficult. Possibly one of the hardest places to find in The Neighborhood is the Pro-Am Walk-On, considering the somewhat generic-looking building is unlabeled. Even if you’re just interested in MyCareer, this place is worth knowing as your agent will tell you to visit the Pro-Am Walk-On building.

With your back facing the huge commemorative statue of Allen Iverson in The Neighborhood, walk straight ahead and stop at the first street corner. You’ll see the Pro-Am Team Arena on the left side. Across the far-end of this building is a large rectangular building with an LCD screen, which is beside the Main Street News stand. This building is the Pro-Am Walk-On. Simply stand near the door and enter the area to matchmake and start the session.

For those unaware, Pro-Am is an online 5v5 game mode that’s only playable be with a full five-man squad, while the Pro-Am Walk-On has matchmaking.
