Life Is Strange Before the Storm Ep. 1: How to Pry Open the Viewfinder

How to Pry Open the Viewfinder in Life Is Strange: Before the Storm Ep. 1

Recommended Videos

In the very first episode of Life Is Strange: Before the Storm, Rachel and Chloe find themselves jumping on a train and heading to the nearby park. When they get there, they decide they want to use the viewfinder as a means of entertainment, however, it’s broken and Rachel spends her last quarter on the darn thing. As such, Chloe tasks herself with saving the day and must pry open the viewfinder to get Rachel’s seemingly lost quarter.

When you get control of Chloe once more, face away from the viewfinder and look directly at the large statue. Then, head right down the path and look for a bench on the left-hand side. There’s a memorial plaque on the bench that’s a little loose. Select the unscrew option and Chloe will get to work removing it from the bench.

With a sturdier piece of metal in hand, return back to the busted viewfinder and use this to pry it open. Chloe will grab the quarter and the story in Life Is Strange: Before the Storm will continue on.

Life Is Strange: Before the Storm’s first episode is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
