The previously-announced Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation was just revealed across screens in Akihabara with a brand new teaser trailer today.
The trailer shows off the same character silhouettes we saw with the initial game reveal as well as the notion that we can expect to hear additional news during Tokyo Game Show, which takes place from September 21 through September 24.
Honestly, there wasn’t a whole lot to go on other than the fact that there is indeed more to come down the pipeline, but as it is we don’t know what part of MegaTen this game fits in, how it plays, who it stars, or what.
What is certain is that you can actually go and see the trailer playing on a mega-screen in Akihabara if you’re in the neighborhood all the way through September 24. So if you’re coming to town for Tokyo Game Show, you’ll have plenty of time to take in the teaser on several different screens.
You can clearly see a Jack Frost, however, one of the series’ most popular demons, so it’s gotta be a little awesome, at least.
Hopefully this MegaTen smartphone game won’t rely on too many free-to-play trappings to find success if it does end up coming westward.
