Destiny 2: How to Get the Karnstein Armlets Exotic Warlock Gauntlets

How to Get the Karnstein Armlets Exotic Warlock Gauntlets in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

The Karnstein Armlets in Destiny 2 is an interesting new exotic that is exclusive to the Warlock class. They are gauntlets that offer a vampiric ability which can really turn the tide in close encounters, especially in Crucible. Their intrinsic perk reads as follows:

  • Vampire’s Caress – Melee attacks grant health recovery and melee, grenade, and class ability energy.

Notice that it says melee attacks, not melee kills. Simply hitting an enemy provides an instant perk which will really help with your survivability during aggressive sessions.

If only there was a guaranteed way to get this exotic to get this exotic to drop. The Karnstein Armlets is not tied to any specific quest in Destiny 2, nor is it offered as an option during the game’s story. Players who really want to nab this one will have to grind and hope that luck is on their side. There are a few ways to get exotics (either as an engram or reward):

  • Public Events (preferably Heroic)
  • Crucible
  • Vanguard Strike Playlist
  • Flashpoint
  • Call to Arms
  • Nightfall
  • Raid
  • Leveling up vendors

All of the above have a chance to provide an exotic, you just need to be persistent. For more on Destiny 2, be sure to check out our wiki.
