Destiny 2: How to Dodge Roll

How to Dodge Roll in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

Destiny 2 brings even more intense battles, raids, trials, and more for you and your friends to jump into. Of course, while you’re in the thick of things you’ll need every ability at your disposal to keep your Guardian alive. Luckily there are quite a few available to you in Destiny 2, with the dodge roll being one of the most useful.

You’ll only be able to use the dodge roll if you’re a Hunter class. Unfortunately, other classes just don’t have access to the ability. To execute a dodge roll all you need to do is press crouch twice in a row quickly. This will send your Guardian hurtling out of harm’s with a quick roll. It can be super useful both in PvE and PvP situations, letting you pop a few shots at your enemies then get out of the line of fire and behind cover.

Do note that the dodge roll ability is on a cooldown. You can’t just dodge endlessly. You’ll need to wait a few seconds between uses, though there are certain pieces of gear and mods that help to reduce the charge time.
