Cuphead: How to Get Coins

How to Get Coins in Cuphead

Recommended Videos

While Cuphead pits players against tons of difficult bosses in order for the titular hero to finish his adventure, it also provides a means for you to get an edge over their fierce competition. There are stores in the game that sell powerful weapons and charms that alter how Cuphead controls and they can really help out in a pinch. Of course, before you can buy anything, you’ll need to have some money which just so happens to come in the form of gold coins.

Coins are very valuable and aren’t simply doled out. You will get a very few from random NPCs you come across in the game, but most of these individuals will just say something to you rather than actually give you anything. If you really want coins, you’re going to have to dive into Cuphead’s Run ‘n’ Gun levels. These are platforming challenges that are filled with enemies and each hold five coins for the player to find. Get all of the coins, complete the level, and get to spending your hard-earned reward.

Do note, however, that you can only collect coins from a level once and there aren’t many of them to begin with. So spend your coins wisely!
