Sure doesn’t look appetizing.
Splatoon 2’s first Splatfest is right around the corner, and Nintendo decided to really go all in this first time by not only pitting two condiments against each other, but also coloring the ink to match. That’s right, the Splatfest will have one team spraying a surprisingly blood-colored ketchup, with the other inking well, a color that looks about as pleasing as mayo actually does.
While the Splatfest isn’t currently live in North America, Japan has gotten access to it. You can take a look at a while match down below from YouTube user Snorth93. The color combination certainly isn’t as pleasing to the eye as others, but it does match the Splatfest. The event will start tonight at 9 PM PT, and run for a full 24 hours. If you haven’t picked a team yet make sure you boot the game up and get on board. Good news, you’ll also have a new weapon to play around with during the Splatfest, as the Sploosh-o-matic will get added in.
Splatoon 2 is currently available exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Are you for team mayonnaise or team ketchup? There’s really only one right answer here, so let us know in the comments down below.
