A SNES Edition New 3DS XL Is Heading to Europe Later This Year

Nintendo has today announced that a SNES Edition New 3DS XL will be available in Europe later this year.

The news was shared with fans today via the official Nintendo of Europe Twitter account. Alongside a photo of the system’s slick packaging, Nintendo of Europe also revealed the system would be available from Oct. 13.

The reveal of this SNES Edition New 3DS XL comes just over a month before Nintendo releases its hotly anticipated SNES Classic Edition. The Classic Edition packs in 21 pre-installed games, most notably Star Fox 2. The SNES Classic Edition will launch on Sept. 29 for a suggested retail price of $79.99.

Currently, pricing and pre-order information for the SNES Edition New 3DS XL is unavailable. However, be sure to keep an eye on the likes of Amazon and GAME over the next couple of days if you are interested to make sure you don’t accidentally miss out.
