Square Enix has today announced that Monster of the Deep, its VR title based on Final Fantasy XV, will launch worldwide for PSVR this November.
The release date was spotted on a page over on the Japanese Square Enix website via Gematsu. Players will be tasked with heading out on a fishing expedition with Noctis and the rest of the crew as they attempt to catch all manner of different fish and creatures. Monster of the Deep also allows players to create and customize their own avatar, just as they could in Final Fantasy XV’s multiplayer component, Comrades.
Monster of the Deep is currently priced at 3,797 Yen which roughly equates to $35. No US pricing has been confirmed as of yet, though.
Square Enix also announced that as of Aug. 23, players will be able to pre-order the experience from the PlayStation Store. Those that do will be given an exclusive dynamic PS4 theme, as well as in-game outfits for doing so.
Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV is due to launch worldwide for PSVR on Nov. 21.
