Is Matterfall PS4 Pro Compatible?

Recommended Videos

Housemarque games have been known for quite some time about their excellent visual effects. The way particles cover the screen as you gun down waves of enemies, or the stylish backdrops to all of the action you find yourself in. With the action often being so fast-paced, too, many will be wondering if the developer’s latest release, Matterfall, makes use of the PS4 Pro.

Well, we have some good news. Matterfall is indeed PS4 Pro compatible. While the action in the game will always be playing out at 60 FPS (frames per second) regardless of whether you’re playing on a standard PS4 or a PS4 Pro, you’ll get the benefit of a 1080p resolution by playing on the more powerful console. This helps to make all of the explosions and other visual effects in Matterfall really shine and helps to enhance the immersive nature of the experience.

If you’re playing on a standard PS4, the game runs at 900p. The difference in resolution isn’t going to impact the way the game play, but will just look ever so slightly better on Sony’s supercharged system.
