Forza Motorsport 5 Headlines September’s Xbox Games With Gold Lineup

Also Battlefield 3.

Microsoft has revealed September’s lineup to its Xbox Games With Gold program, offering two Xbox One and two Xbox 360 titles free for Gold members throughout the month.

Forza Motorsport 5 Racing Game of the Year Edition will be available to download starting Sept. 1 until the end of the month. Microsoft’s racing sim launched alongside the Xbox One, and this version contains an additional 10 cars with the Top Gear Car Pack. The other Xbox One game is supernatural adventure game Oxenfree, which is available from Sept. 16 to Oct. 15.

The two free Xbox 360 games for the month are Hydro Thunder Hurricane and Battlefield 3. Hydro Thunder Hurricane, the 2010 Xbox Live arcade title, can be downloaded from Sept. 1 to Sept 15. Battlefield 3, the DICE-developed 2011 first-person shooter, will be available starting Sept. 16 to the end of the month. Both Xbox 360 titles are backward compatible and can be played on the Xbox One.
