Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth Gets an October Release Date For North America

Etrian Odyssey returns to 3DS soon.

Atlus has officially announced a release date for Etrian Odyssey V in North America, which will arrive on Nintendo 3DS on October 17, 2017. Up until now, we only had a tentative release date of Fall for the title.

Like past entries in the series, Etrian Odyssey V is a dungeon-crawling RPG focused on creating and training your very own party of unique characters. The game takes place on the brand new continent of Arcania, which is inhabited by four different races and has its very own Yggdrasil tree. You’ll have access to ten different classes in the game, each of which is unique to one of the four races.

In addition to the release date today Atlus released a brand new trailer for the game showing off the Fencer class, which is exclusive to the Earthlain or human race. The class has some defensive buffs for the party, and is focused on stabbing and chaining attacks while wielding a rapier and shield. You can see more on the Fencer in the trailer down below.

Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth first released on 3DS last August in Japan.
