The Sims 4 Comes to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 17

The Sims 4

Three years after original PC release.

After PC-exclusive The Sims 4 unexpectedly appeared on the Microsoft Store earlier this week, Electronic Arts announced today that the game is coming to both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Nov. 17.

The console versions will contain “additional content updates” that came after the original PC launch, EA said in a press release. The publisher also said the game will receive “periodic game updates and extra content releases” after its console launch, although the Life of the Party, Up All Night, and Awesome Animal Hats add-ons are exclusive to the Deluxe Party edition.

The game is now available for pre-order in standard and Deluxe Party editions. Pre-ordering any edition comes with Perfect Patio Stuff Pack, while the Deluxe Party edition also offers three-day early access to the game on Nov. 14.

EA Access members on Xbox One can start playing The Sims 4 beginning Nov. 9 until Nov. 14, with all progress transferring to the full version. EA recently added the game to Origin Access, the company’s subscription service on PC.
