With August fast approaching, the time has come for Sony to reveal the free games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers next month.
The new lineup will replace this month’s, which included Until Dawn and Telltale’s Game of Thrones Season One. August’s lineup is certainly more action packed and includes:
- Just Cause 3, PS4
- Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry, PS4
- Super Motherload, PS3
- Snakeball, PS3
- Downwell, PS Vita (crossbuy with PS4)
- Level 22, PS Vita
In Just Cause 3, you “take Rico Rodriguez on a truly wild ride to liberate Medici from military dictatorship,” while in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag’s standalone expansion you “guide Adewale on an emotional story, using his skills as an assassin and his deep convictions to free oppressed people,” after the events of the mainline game. You can see more about what is on offer next month on the PlayStation Blog.
Also, That’s You, the first Play Link title will continue to be free throughout August. The new titles will go live on Wednesday, August 2 so you only have seven days to download July’s titles, or add them to your library to be downloaded at a later date.
Just Cause 3 and the other PlayStation Plus free games for August will go live on August 2.
