How to Restore MP in Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age
You’ll have lots of options and abilities at your disposal in Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, but by far one of the most useful is magic. With everything from Time Magic to Green Magic you’ll start using more and more as you get further into The Zodiac Age. Because of this you’ll need some ways to restore your MP, or Magic Points, every now and again. Luckily, there’s a few different ways you can restore your MP in Final Fantasy XII.
The easiest way is by simply heading to any of the save crystals in the world of The Zodiac Age, which will instantly restore your entire party’s HP and MP. While you’re out exploring that may not always be an option, however, so you’ll need to bring a few items with you just in case. What you’ll want for restoring MP are Ethers or Hi-Ethers. These are most often found in chests during dungeons or sometimes dropped by enemies. However, once you’ve unlocked Clan Centurio in Final Fantasy XII and progressed just a little bit you will be able to buy Ethers at the clan shop in the Muthru Bazaar of Rabanastre. They cost 222 Gil apiece.
Besides items there are a few abilities that help restore MP that you can unlock on the License Board. Nodes like Headsman let you gain MP after defeating an enemy, so keep an eye out on the license board and try to pick up a few abilities that might help.
