ESO Plus Subscribers Can Nab Free Goodies This Week

Elder Scrolls Online Gameplay

ESO Plus subscribers get some free swag this week.

The Elder Scrolls Online may work on a buy-once-play-forever model, but there is a paid subscription service that gives access to DLC and other goodies called ESO Plus. This week, ESO Plus subscribers get an extra bonus each day. Non-subscribers can also get a chance to try out ESO Plus for a week.

The Elder Scrolls Online Plus Bonus Event starts on July 5 at 10 AM ET and lasts until July 9 at 11:59 PM ET. During that time, ESO Plus subscribers will get a free Dwarven Crown Crate each day just by logging in. These crates can contain mounts, pets, costumes, and other in-game items and will be delivered to qualifying players on July 17.

If you’re simply trying out ESO Plus, you won’t get the Dwarven Crown Crates unless you buy the subscription. With the trial, you can get access to all the DLC except for Morrowind, which must be purchased separately.

You can also get unlimited crafting component storage, double bank space, and 10% faster experience, gold Crafting Inspiration, and Trait Research Rates. If you love your player-owned house, ESO Plus will also give you double furnishing and collectible space and the ability to dye clothes. If that wasn’t enough, a subscription, you’ll also get 1,500 Crowns a month you can use in the in-game Crown Store.

Now’s a great time to get into Elder Scrolls Online. The Morrowind expansion just released and it adds a huge swath of content. You can get The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind for $40, and the base game and Morrowind for $60.
