Dragon Ball on the go.
We’ve known that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch for quite some time, but up until now we haven’t had a firm release date. Bandai Namco has announced that the game will launch on September 22 for Switch, both in North America and Europe.
There will be a number of exclusive features for the Switch version, not the least of which is being able to take the game on the go. You’ll also have the option of using motion controls to execute special moves. Local ad-hoc multiplayer will be available with up to six players, and you can even battle locally on one system with two Joy-Cons. Here’s a quick overview of the game via Bandai Namco,
“Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 builds upon the highly popular Dragon Ball Xenoverse with enhanced graphics that will further immerse players into the largest and most detailed Dragon Ball world ever developed. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch includes Nintendo Switch-specific features and a different way of playing with your friends both locally and online.”
Coincidentally the day Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 releases, Sept. 22, is the same day Pokken Tournament DX releases on Switch. Which game will you be picking up? Or both? Let us know down in the comments below.
