The Champions’ Ballad is the upcoming story DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and we already know that players will get to find out more about the four champions before they were trapped in their respective Divine Beasts. However, it looks like we’ll also get to play as Link, as Nintendo tweeted out today:

There’s some speculation that there are parts of the DLC that could possibly take place after the defeat of Calamity Ganon, as indicated by the glowing shrine in the background. This indicates that we could find out more about what happens to Hyrule after Link defeated Ganon and freed Zelda. It’s definitely an interesting idea, though we won’t know for sure until Nintendo releases more info on the DLC.

Nintendo recently released the first DLC pack for Breath of the Wild, titled Master Trials, and it came with tons of new items, a new difficulty mode, and a trial to unlock the full potential of the Master Sword. The Champions’ Ballad will be released later this year.
