BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Includes Characters from Persona, RWBY, and More

A star-studded crossover!

Arc System Works has announced BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle which is the latest entry to their BlazBlue franchise. So far, they have yet to reveal the game’s platform(s), but it will launch sometime in 2018.

The upcoming crossover will be a “dream-team of characters that have never before been gathered in a single 2D fighting game.” The current BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle roster includes Ragna the Bloodedge and Jin Kisaragi from BlazBlue, Hyde from Under Night In-Birth, Yu Narukami from Persona 4, and even Ruby Rose from the RWBY animated series. In line with this, there will also be more character announcements in the future.

Each character will have their own unique playstyle that revolves around the typical BlazBlue combat system. From the name itself, the game will also include a tag system which is a first for the franchise. You can watch the official reveal trailer below:
