Valkyria Revolution: How to Use Skills

Using Skills in Valkyria Revolution

Recommended Videos

Aside from just using melee attacks to hit your enemies, Valkyria Revolution also allows you to make use of special skills to take them out.

To use skills, you have to open up your Battle Pallet. This pauses time in the game, allowing you to select the skill you want to use, and aim it at your foes. Simply press triangle on your controller (or Y, if you’re on Xbox One) to open the Battle Pallet and view your available skills. You can then use the left stick to move your cursor around the options on the wheel. Most of the skills in the Battle Pallet are AoE moves, you can select the move you want and aim it on the ground. Do be warned that using skills will take up RP, so you can’t just spam them over and over again, or your RP meter will deplete very quickly.

Some characters also have access to skills that can heal their allies, or grant them boons to improve their performance in the field. Read each skill description carefully before determining which one you should use.
