Amplitude will feature a single player campaign as well as competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes. With ‘high fidelity visuals, new songs, a sic-fi narrative and more’, the campaign will be presented in the form of a sci-fi concept album with a story told through the game’s visuals, music, and lyrics.

With a soundtrack of more than 30 songs, Amplitude will feature creations by Harmonix’s in-house composers and Kickstarter backers as well as music from artists such as Darren Korb (Transistor) and C418 (Minecraft).

Some fans will be able to play the game early. Supporters of the Kickstarter who backed at the $40 tier or higher will receive the game two weeks early, on December 23rd, just in time for Christmas. Also, Amplitude will be playable at PS Experience and attendees will receive an exclusive dynamic theme and a trading card when they visit the game’s booth.

The game’s full tracklist and more information on the Kickstarter can be found on the Playstation Blog.
