Atlus has let the cat out of the bag a little too early, it seems, as their website sliders indicate that Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey, Etrian Odyssey V, and Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology will be coming west on the 3DS. According to the sliders, Etrian Odyssey V will be the first game to get localized, as it’s slated for a fall 2017 release. It’s worth noting that while the Strange Journey remake is named Deep Strange Journey in Japan, it’ll be branded as Strange Journey Redux in the west.
The other two games will be releasing a little bit later, and the sliders have indicated that they’ll be launching some time in early 2018. From the look of Atlus’ website, it’s obvious what they’ll be showing off at E3 this year. Hopefully we’ll get more details about Deep Strange Journey and Radiant Historia, as well as a playable build of Etrian Odyssey V.
Atlus also recently confirmed that they’ll be publishing Vanillaware’s new game, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, which is receiving a western release as well. Great news all around for fans of Japanese games.
