ALL RAID BOSSES IN POKEMON GO AND WHAT DIFFICULTY LEVEL THEY ARE
The most significant Pokemon GO update since the game’s release almost a year ago is now available. It features a complete rework of the game’s gym system and introduces Raids, which are battles against powerful Pokemon designed to be undertaken by groups of trainers.
There is currently four difficulty levels in Raid battles, with a fifth presumably reserved for legendary Pokemon, but you will only find certain Pokemon at those levels. These are the Pokemon you can encounter at each level, along with their weaknesses.
Level 1 – Bayleef (Fire), Croconaw (Electric, Grass), Magikarp (Electric, Grass) Quilava (Rock, Water).
Level 2 – Electabuzz (Ground), Exeggutor (Fire, Bug, Ghost), Magmar (Rock, Water), Muk (Psychic, Ground), Weezing (Psychic, Ground).
Level 3 – Alakazam (Dark, Ghost), Arcanine (Water, Ground), Flareon (Water, Ground), Gengar (Ghost, Dark), Jolteon (Ground), Machamp (Psychic), Vaporeon (Electric, Grass).
Level 4 – Blastoise (Electric, Grass), Charizard (Water, Ground), Lapras (Fighting, Grass, Electric), Rhydon (Fighting, Water), Snorlax (Fighting), Tyranitar (Fighting), Venosaur (Fire, Psychic).
It is possible that the Pokemon go up and down levels depending on location and each boss’ CP, and Niantic may add more Pokemon to each level in the future, but these are the only ones that are currently being encountered. Legendaries may also be added this summer or at specific Pokemon GO events, since Niantic teased their release earlier this year. However, they will probably require a high number of trainers to defeat.
