IS NEX MACHINA PLAYSTATION 4 PRO COMPATIBLE?

Nex Machina is a vibrant, busy looking game and looks stunning when bullets and debris are flying around the screen. It looks great on PlayStation 4 and PC but do PlayStation 4 Pro owners get a graphics boost above the standard console?

Thankfully, Housemarque has confirmed that Nex Machina has PlayStation 4 Pro support. In an interview with Dualshockers, Head of Publishing Mikael Haveri said, “Bascially, we will have PS4 Pro support. Currently, it’s pretty straightforward. We’re just trying to figure out what the optimal resolution is that we can tie in with the 60 frames per second because that is a must for this title. We can’t promise any specific resolutions right now, but that’s currently what we’re trying to polish and figure out.”

Therefore, while he confirms that the game will be enhanced on PlayStation 4 Pro, he cannot confirm a resolution. He feels that having the game run at 60fps is more important than a 4k resolution due to how frantic and fast paced the gameplay is. The game may run at 1080p and 60fps to ensure that the experience is consistently smooth.

Nex Machina is another game that takes full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4 Pro. For more on the game, be sure to stick with us at Twinfinite.
