The bonus episode, titled ‘Farewell’ will allow players to take control of Max Caulfield for one final time. We know that we’ll be playing as a younger Max, but no other details on the episode have been shared.

On top of that, you’ll also get access to a Mixtape Mode. This will allow you to take your favorite songs from Life Is Strange: Before the Storm’s licensed soundtrack and combine it with a “cinematic scene” from the game. Whether you’ll have any control on what the cinematic scene is remains to be seen.

Rounding off the Deluxe Edition, you’ll also get access to three new looks for Chloe. You can get a quick look at the Punk Doe look in the trailer below. Hawt Dawg Man and Illuminati will accompany it and sound pretty interesting if you ask us.

The Deluxe Edition is currently listed on Steam for $24.82, while the standard edition is $16.99.

Life Is Strange: Before the Storm’s first episode arrives on Aug. 29 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
