Guardians of the Galaxy episode two

PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE MAJOR STORY SPOILERS AHEAD FOR GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY EPISODE TWO. IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE EPISODE AS IT WAS INTENDED, WE ADVISE YOU TURN BACK NOW. ALSO, NOTE THAT THIS STORY SUMMARY IS BASED ON THE MAJOR DECISIONS WE MADE DURING THE EPISODE. YOUR EXPERIENCES MAY DIFFER DEPENDING ON THE DECISIONS YOU MAKE.

Episode two wastes no time in picking up where the first episode left off. With Peter back alive after the Eternity Forge sent him through a crazy flashback. The main topic of conversation is exactly what the cost might be for bringing Peter back to life. The discussion is quickly broken up, however, as Hala turns back up on her ship, attempting to reclaim the relic from the Guardians.

After some evasive maneuvers from Peter, the team has lost Hala for now, but the ship has suffered some heavy damage in the process. Peter tells Rocket he knows someone who might be able to help, and they head off to the Neon District of Rajak to meet Yondu.

During introductions with the blue Ravager, Rocket reveals that he and Yondu have known each other for a while, having supplied black-market weapons to Yondu on countless occasions. On the topic of black-market trinkets, Peter shows Yondu the Eternity Forge. As the pair touch it, they’re sent back on another flashback with Peter and his mother on the roof of the car.

She basically tells you that she knows things haven’t been easy recently, but she’s not going to be around forever and Peter needs to learn to handle things on his own and take responsibility for his actions. Peter notices some abnormalities, though. His mother starts talking about killing Thanos and saving the galaxy, and also a star constellation forming right before his eyes. When he points it out to his mother, she tells him to look closer. Writing appears which wasn’t there before. When asking his mom what it says, she disappears, but her voice can be heard saying “Come find me, Peter,” as we’re brought back to the present day.
