The first game showcased on the new Xbox One X console during the Microsoft E3 Press Event was Forza Motorsport 7. It was shown running at 60 frames per second, 4k quality, with HDR. Yeah, Microsoft picked a good title to champion the power of the Xbox One X in front of its audience.
The newest title by Turn 10 Studios was developed to take advantage of all of the features made possible by the new Xbox One X (formerly known as Scorpio). However, if you are not picking up the latest console day one, it will also be releasing on the other consoles that make up the Xbox family as well as PC. You’ll be able to get behind the wheel of over 700 cars, including the new, and exclusive to Microsoft’s E3 event, Porsche 2018 911 GT2 RS, which was unveiled on stage. It was also announced that there will also be 30 locations and raceways, as well as 200 different configurations for players to take for a test drive. The weather system as also been completely revamped to not just be a mode or setting, but dynamic and changes every time you hit the track.
Forza Motorsport 7 will be available on October 3rd, 2017, releasing just a little over a month before the nex Xbox One X.
