How to Access and Play For Honor’s Tournament and Ranked Beta
For Honor has had a few troubled months since its release in February. With its player base contemplating boycotting the online combat game, things haven’t exactly been peachy. Well, Ubisoft intends to go some distance in improving the experience for players with Tournament and Ranked play features in the coming months. Fortunately for fans, they’ll have access to these features via the Tournament and Ranked beta taking place in For Honor this weekend. Here’s how you can access and play the For Honor beta.
In order to jump into the Tournament and Ranked beta, you’ll need to make sure you have access to the Public Test Server (PTS). As such, it’s worth noting that those players on the Xbox One and PS4 will be unable to take part. Those who have the game on Uplay or Steam, however, can just follow these simple steps below.
For Steam users, simply log into Steam and look for ‘For Honor – Public Test in your library. Simply download this and you’ll be all set to play when the servers go live from June 29 up until July 4. You’ll only have access to this program in your library if you bought and played For Honor prior to June 22, sorry newcomers!
Fortunately, it’s the exact same thing for Uplay users, too. All you need to do is log in to your account, seek out the ‘For Honor – Public Test’ in your library and get it downloaded. Once it’s done, you’re all set to slay in the Tournaments and Ranked beta.
That’s all you need to know about the Tournament and Ranked beta this weekend. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game, be sure to check back out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
