Changing Outfit Colors in ARMS
Every character in ARMS has a default color palette. However, if you happen to go up against an opponent who’s using the same fighter as you in any of the multiplayer modes, one of your characters will have a palette swap. In case you were wondering, yes, you can change the outfit colors of your characters even if you’re just playing the single-play Grand Prix mode.
To do this, go to the character select screen. Once you have your cursor on whichever fighter you want to pick, click in the left stick (the Switch’s L3 button) and push the stick either left or right while still holding it down. This will allow you to cycle through all of the available outfit colors for any particular character. You can push the stick upwards to revert your character back to their original outfit color palette.
Once you’ve selected the color that you want, simply start the fight and you’re good to go. You can select the outfit colors in both single-player and multiplayer. Finally, you’ll be able to stand out from the rest of the crowd.
