Tekken 7: How to Customize Your Character

How to Customize Your Character in Tekken 7

Recommended Videos

Tekken 7 has a wide range of customization options to make your character unique within the game, be it online or in versus mode. You’re able to customize a ton of different parts of them, from their hair to their pants, so your options are pretty vast to make a one of a kind Akuma if you wanted to.

Here’s how to do this, though. You need to head over to the section Customization in the game’s main menu. Once there, go ahead and select Character Customization and you will be shown each of your fighters. Select whoever you want from here, pick a slot to save the costume into, and you’ll be able to choose from the following things.

  • Head
  • Hair
  • Full-Face
  • Hair Accessory
  • Glasses
  • Make-up
  • Upper Body
  • Lower Body
  • Entire Body
  • Upper Accessory
  • Lower Accessory
  • Effects
  • Aura
  • Skin Tone
  • Mirroring
  • Character Panel

Note that each article of the costume will cost you Fight Money, and once you select and buy it, you’ll need to hit X again to equip it. A lot of different pieces will conflict, so you won’t be able to put on a full-face mask as well as make-up, for example.

The next time you’re selecting a fighter, be sure to hit Square and you’ll be able to actually choose the outfit you made.

Have fun customizing your Tekken 7 character! And for more help with the game, be sure to check back to Twinfinite for guides and tips.
