More is always better.
During their financial report briefing this week, Koei Tecmo CEO Yoichi Erikawa expressed the company’s interest in developing more titles for Nintendo’s newest hybrid console, the Switch.
Erikawa firmly believes in the “anytime, anywhere” concept and appeal of the Switch, and wants to support it. Of course, we already know that Koei Tecmo is pretty heavily invested in Nintendo’s console. The company has already announced titles like Musou Stars, Fire Emblem Warriors, and the latest entry in the Nobunaga’s Ambition series. However, in addition to all of these titles, they are also planning on working on even more games for the Switch. It’s good news all around for fans of both the Switch and Koei.
Erikawa also mentioned that the company is planning to release new “collaboration” titles for both Japan and the west as well. We’ll keep you updated as more info on this comes our way.
