Is Star Wars Battlefront II Coming to Nintendo Switch?

Over the years there’s been plenty of Star Wars games, but few come close to representing the universe as well as Star Wars Battlefront. The next entry in the series EA and Dice’s Star Wars Battlefront II, promises to bring even more massive battles from across the Star Wars timeline. Naturally, fans are probably wondering which systems the title is coming to, and if they’ll be able to play it on Nintendo’s handheld hybrid, the Switch.

Unfortunately, at the moment Star Wars Battlefront II is not planned for the Nintendo Switch, but will be releasing on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The good news, however, is that EA recently changed their stance on the Switch and is considering bringing more games to the system other than FIFA. At this point, it’s unknown what we could see the company bring to the Switch.

Unlike the first game, Star Wars Battlefront II will feature a single player campaign as well as a host of multiplayer modes. The story takes place directly after Return of the Jedi, and has you playing as an Imperial Special Forces soldier from Inferno Squad named Iden Versio. The title will also feature heroes and content from multiple time period in the Star Wars saga, including The Force Awakens. Star Wars Battlefront II is scheduled to release on November 17 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
