Playing Harley Quinn in Injustice 2

Harley Quinn is a fun pick if you prefer playing as a ranged fighter in Injustice 2. Her kit is full of zoning and range attacks, and she works best when the opponent is on the other side of the screen instead of right next to her.

Pistol Fury is a pretty standard ranged attack which allows her to fire a single bullet for high damage. You can also meter burn it to fire two shots with increased damage. Her other gun attack, Pop Pop, is considerably slower, but is also fantastic for dealing with opponents who might favor ranged attacks and staying away as well. By holding down the triangle button when inputting the command, there’s a bit of a build-up before Harley fires the shot, but the result is a slow projectile that does about 130 damage, and it’s unblockable. Of course, there’s a very good chance that your opponent can dodge it (especially if you’re online), but the shot itself can also serve as a distraction while you try to close the distance.

Or, if you don’t want to close the distance, summoning your hyenas with Harley Quinn’s Down, Circle move is another great tool for dealing damage.

Harley can also keep close ranged attackers at bay with Cupcake Bomb, which has her throw a fast projectile at her opponent to throw them backwards. Meter burn this to have her throw an additional overhead projectile. Lastly, her Play Doctor move is a deadly command grab that lets her do almost 120 damage in three quick moves. If you meter burn it, your opponent takes extra damage over time.

Harley Quinn isn’t at loss when it comes to up close combat either. Her combos lend themselves quite well to juggling and keeping opponents off balance. She relies heavily on bounce attacks (either off the ground or wall) to set up rapid strikes with her guns. Her Tantrum stance, which is useful defensively when playing the distance game, can also be used to kick off or brutally finish combos.

This versatility makes her a great option for both beginners and advanced players as she can easily transition between all ranges without missing a beat.

Pistol Fury: Down, Forward, Light Attack

Play Doctor: Down, Back, Forward, Light Attack
