At this point, it’s time to make sure you have a suite of special moves to mix with your combos. If you’re having trouble remembering some of the combos, tag some from the moves list so the commands are on screen while you fight. Mixing between basic combos and your special moves is essential to consistently gaining some Super meter to throw down the good stuff.  You don’t want your #1 way of gaining meter to be getting pummeled or spamming a projectile attack. Don’t be that person (I’m looking at you Deadshot).

Also, don’t underestimate the back-strong or forward-strong attack (A on Xbox One, X on PS4). While they do leave you slightly vulnerable if blocked, it’s the perfect move to start a juggle and dish out some unstoppable damage. Juggling is the best way to ensure every one of your attacks will land. Without being able to block, you leave your opponent having to meter burn escape, or suffer and witness their heroic bod flop its way to destruction. Before you know it, you’ll have Shazam laughing in his grave watching Black Adam be juggled all the way to his doom.
