How to Recruit Forsyth in Fire Emblem Echoes
Lancers and after promotion Knights will function as the backbone of your army in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, as their high defense allows you to shield other units by soaking up the enemies’ attacks. Forsyth is one such Lancer that you’ll meet in Act 2 of Fire Emblem Echoes, and a member of The Deliverance, the force working to take back the Kingdom of Zofia.
You can recruit Forsyth once you’ve reached and liberated Zofia Castle in Fire Emblem Echoes. After the battle, head inside the castle itself and in the entrance you’ll see Forsyth. Just talk to him and you’ll be given the option to recruit him to your army. Forsyth starts as a Lancer, but can promote to a Knight when he reaches the proper level. He’s a strong defensive unit, and his support relationship with his friend Python can lead to some fun moments.
Make sure to use Forsyth and Lukas as the front lines of your strategy when facing physical enemies, as their high defense allows them to act essentially as a wall.
