ESO Morrowind: How to Play and Get into Early Access

Early Access in Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind

Recommended Videos

Elder Scrolls Online fans, listen up! If you’re a PC player that can’t wait for the June 6 release date for the next major expansion, Morrowind, know that you can start the early access right now. In order to play in the early access, you only need to purchase the Digital Upgrade or Digital Collector’s Edition Upgrade. After you’ve done that, it will be automatically available to those who upgraded.

If you pre-purchased a physical copy of the expansion already, then you’ll need to fill out this request form to be allowed to participate. You can read the full instructions on what you’ll need to do at the end of this post courtesy of the official ESO blog.

If you’re a PS4 or Xbox One player, however, you are out of luck. According to Bethesda, a console version of the early access is not possible because of the “time needed for certification of the PlayStation and Xbox One ESO: Morrowind clients.”

Read the full description on how to enter early access from pre-ordering a physical copy below:

“If you are an existing ESO player who has pre-ordered or pre-purchased the physical ESO: Morrowind Collector’s Edition for PC/Mac, you will be able to join the Early Access event after a few simple steps:

  1. Log into the ESO Support Portal and fill out the Early Access entry form. You will need to provide proof of pre-order or pre-purchase for your physical PC/Mac ESO: Morrowind Collector’s Edition.
  2. Our support team will then grant your account access to ESO: Morrowind for Early Access starting on May 22.
  3. When you receive your physical PC/Mac ESO: Morrowind Collector’s Edition at launch on June 6, you will need to enter the included code to get your Digital Collector’s Edition items and Discovery Pack.

Please note that if you do not apply the code included with your physical PC/Mac ESO: Morrowind Collector’s Edition within two days of launch, we will send an email alerting you that you will lose access to ESO: Morrowind content within 24 hours. So be sure to apply the code as soon as you pick up your copy!” via Elder Scrolls Online
