How to Get to the Second Grand Tome in Yooka-Laylee
On your Pagie collecting adventure through Yooka-Laylee, players will jump into Grand Tomes to complete a number of challenges and search for collectibles. To find these Grand Tomes, though, requires a bit of additional exploration of Hivory Towers. Reaching the second Grand Tome in Yooka-Laylee can be particularly confusing, too, so let us help you find your way there.
To get to the second Grand Tome in Yooka-Laylee, make your way back to the room with the Capital B statue in it. Head up the ramp on the left side of the room, and rather than jumping across as you did to get the first Pagie, go back on yourself by taking the ramp up once more. Use the Buddy Slam skill on the button at the top to open the door and progress through. You can get this skill from Trowzer in the first Grand Tome.
In the next room, you’ll have to complete the Quack-Fire quiz, so make sure to check up on your progress in the game. With the quiz out of the way, jump up the ledges to your right in this next room opposite the door on the left. Speak to Trowzer the Snake and he’ll teach you to Glide. Use this to glide over the gap by pressing A to jump and then holding it again to reach the other side.
Follow the path around until you see an icy-looking Grand Tome to your right. It’ll cost you three Pagies to open Glitterglaze Glacier, and a further five to expand it.
