Can You Sprint & Move Faster in What Remains of Edith Finch?
As you explore the Finch household and its surroundings in What Remains of Edith Finch, it’ll likely hit you pretty quickly that Edith can walk a little slowly. While it’s nice to take in all of the tiny details that developer Giant Sparrow has added into the game, others may just want to get from story to story a little bit faster.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to move faster or sprint in What Remains of Edith Finch. For the most part, you’ll just have to accept that Edith can’t get around as quickly as you’d like her to.
There are a few small moments in What Remains of Edith Finch where you can move faster, though. During some of the Finch family stories, your character will be moving on their own. In these, if you press forward on the analog stick, they’ll move a tiny bit faster. Unfortunately, that’s the only time you’ll be able to speed it up. And we’re sorry to say it’s really not that much faster.
While you can’t sprint in What Remains of Edith Finch, just let yourself get immersed in the tales and the two hours it takes to complete will fly by. For more on the game, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
