Still more to come.
Watch Dogs 2 has been out for a few months now, but there’s still a ton of new content for owners to look forward to. Ubisoft has announced that the game will be receiving a large free update on April 17, and it comes with new multiplayer match types and other items like new weapons and clothing options.
“We started with new four-player versions of the drone, motocross, and eKart races, which will feel instantly familiar to anyone who spent much time with them in single-player. With everyone’s rides evenly matched, victory comes down to skill, speed, and confidence – and once you’ve got a good group together, you can keep playing indefinitely, voting after each match on which race type and/or map you want to tackle next.”
There’s also a new Showdown mode that pits players against each other in a 2v2 matchup, where everyone has to make full use of their hacking skills to outwit the opponent.
Ubisoft also announced that the next piece of story DLC, No Compromise, will be made available on April 18.
Watch Dogs 2 is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
