Hopefully it’s actually stable.

Square Enix’s previous PS4 Pro patch for Final Fantasy XV was a bit of a mixed bag. While PS4 Pro users did finally have the option to play the game at 60 frames per second, the patch actually worsened the game’s performance and destabilized the frame rate. With a new patch coming this week, on April 27, hopefully things will get a bit better.

The developers have announced a new Stable Mode for the game, which should allow players to comfortably enjoy the game at a stable frame rate. In addition to that, the patch will also bring about several minor UI tweaks and updates. For instance, subtitles and some menu text will be enlarged, making for easier reading. Timed quests will also be making a return, and the Regalia will be getting new songs to be played on the radio, as well as stickers.

Final Fantasy XV is now available on the PS4 and Xbox One. How has your experience with the game been so far? Let us know in the comments down below.
