WHERE TO FIND THE LOOT BOX ON THE ISLAND – SNIPER GHOST WARRIOR 3
There are loot boxes littered throughout Sniper Ghost Warrior’s open world but there is only one that unlocks a trophy/achievement.
The trophy is called ‘Treasure Island’ and the description reads, “open the loot box on the island,” without giving any information on what is in the loot box or even where the island is.
Thankfully, the island is quite easy to find because, surprisingly, it is the only discernible island in the whole game. The easiest way to find it is to open up the world map by pressing square/X in the map area of the menu, then choosing the bottom right area called Mining Town. You can see the image below for more guidance.
Here you will be able to see the island quite easily. It is just to the right of dead center, just north east of the safe house. The best thing to do is to set a waypoint to the island by pressing Y/triangle on the area.
Once there, you will have to contend with two enemies that are trying to protect the loot and you’ll see the treasure in a big crate at the end of path, on the far end of the island. It is very easy to spot once you have found the island. See the image below for confirmation on what you are looking for.
Once you have opened the loot box you will be awarded with some crafting supplies and the trophy/achievement will pop soon after.
