Take a look at the single-player story.

The team over at Impulse Gear is jumping up and down today because their new PlayStation VR title ‘Farpoint’ has finally gone gold. This flagship VR game is a space adventure set on a hostile alien planet. You end up being separated from your colleagues and must use logs scattered throughout the landscape to reunite with the scientists and escape the planet, all while blowing through hordes of alien species. The game not only features a full-length single player campaign but a robust online multiplayer cooperative mode.

The co-founder of Impulse Gear, Seth Luisi, posted about this exciting moment over on the PS Blog where he talked about working on Farpoint. “When we started working on Farpoint we knew from the beginning that we wanted it to have a deep and meaningful narrative. We wanted to use VR to tell a unique, more personal story in a way that put the player right in the middle of it. I don’t want to spoil too much as the best way to experience it is in VR, but our new trailer will provide a glimpse into the story.”

You can watch the brand-new trailer right here that highlights the single-player story.

You can pick up Farpoint on the PS4 once it launches on May 16; the game will be available in a standalone format or in the PlayStation VR Aim Controller Farpoint Bundle.
